How cheap do you want?
Most of the love hotels in teh area run about 50,000. Look at the room first though, some are much nicer than others.
If thats too much, youcould also stay at a jimjilbang/sauna overnight. That should run you about 10-12000. There are several nice ones in the area. There is one that I cna vouch for as being nice and safe (no groping in the night) on Dalmaji hill called Vesta. Every taxi driver knows it and its only abou a 10 minute walk t othe beach. |

I used one last year which was right on the beach, albeit, right down the Eastern end of it. I think it was called the Waikiki Motel/Hotel, it was a pretty tall building, the first building past the little plaza with miniature kiddy racing cars outside the 7/11.
Really worth checking it out. Beach view was a shocking price, but the other side was around 50k, and the rooms were really nice.
Also, the beach has the reputation of being crowded, but down that end there was loads of room, and it looked no different. You'd be 5 minutes from the beach.
Still, ask to see the room first. |

There's one in that area...maybe next to the Waikiki called the Carib or Caribbean Motel. It's pretty nice about the same price as Waikiki. I've been there 2 or 3 times and somehow ended up in the same room facing the beach. Nice, clean and quiet.... |

I would also chime in for Vest Jim Jil Bang. It's awesome! See if you can get blankets and sleep up in the weight room on the roof. Also, bring a bathing suit for the roof hot tub. |

A hostel/hostel? I've seen hostels and I've seen hostels, but never a combined hostel/hostel. |

Go to Haeundai beach and get in a cab and say Vesta Jim Jil Bang. It's only a couple thousand won. Cabbies all know where it is. It's just north of the beach up on the hill. |

At the top, click on teh fourth optoin from the left. Then click on teh second option on that page on the left. Thee's a map in Korean, but if you can't read Korean or don't know Haeundae well, then just get in cab the first time you go.
Say "Dahl mah jee beh suh tuh" Thats the best phonetics I can come up wiht unless yo ucan read Korean or can read Korean romanization (which is like reading another language in my opinion!) |
