Plenty. Use my UK passport in Europe and the US, Australian one gets me back home without all the associated hassles. Have two governments who will (in theory) be obliged to get my ass out of here in a crisis. The last one was dumb luck. I spent my first year here in a haggie, no pension. Since then have worked for more reputable firms and switched to the Aussie one since the UK expired. Turns out that Aussies have become eligible for pension refunds now. Paydirt. |

I have dual citizenship, and I agree with the above poster: ease of travel (depending on where you're going), and the added double governmental help in case of emergency.
You *do* hear about people who traveled into a country on passport #1, and the government of passport #2 won't help them when they need it.
I don't think that it could hurt though. |
