I listen to a live internet radio program on my computer alot. How do I get this internet music to play on my tv (better speakers than my little laptop) or is it even possible? My tv remote is all in Korean. I have cable tv. thanks for any help

I don't know, but you can get good-sounding external computer speakers for 30 or 40 bucks at any department store. Sounds better than your tv probably

All you need is a cable to go from your computer's headphone jack to the TV's audio input jack.

If you wish to view stuff on the TV instead of just listening to stuff via the TV do the following:

Go to a computer supply store, such as those at the Gaya Computer Plaza in Busan. Purchase two cables. One is for the video signal to go from your computer to the tv screen. The second cable is the audio cable, one end of which you plug into your computer's headphone jack and the other you plug into the tv's audio input jack.

One of the function keys should have an icon that's supposed to llok like a TV screen. On my computer (a Sony Vaio made for the American market), it's the F7 key. After you connect the cables, hold down the Fn key (usually on the left of the space key) while at the same time holding down the F7 key. You will get an on-screen display. Use your arrow keys to select if you wish the video to be just on the TV, just on the computer, or on both.

First be sure your TV has an audio input. More than likely it does for the DVD player. Should look something like this:



You'll need a cable like this:



Go out from your "headphone out" into the audio jacks on the back (or front if you have them) of your tv.

Re: TV, make sure your video card is new enough to have a video out. Many laptops (especially those before the last couple of years) don't have this capability.

I'd agree with buying a decent set of speakers--I got some good ones for around $20 in Yongsan.
