How you might ask, he met with Canadian Teachers in Seoul. I read it in the K. Herald today. I can't find the link yet on the Internet.

Being from America, I wonder when an American Ambassador might get thy head out of thy Ars?

To be honst, nobody gives a rat's ass about the Canadian ambassador. To understand the reasons take a walk down to Gwanhwamun and look at the US Embassy. Now, try and find the Canadian one. Then ask yourself the following questions:

1. Which embassy has the armd police and heavy military vehicles guarding it and which one is a small, unguardded office on the whetever floor of an office building.
2. Which one needs barbed wire and 4 meter high defensive walls and which one needs a glass door for security.

The Canadian ambassador really doesnt have much to do here. Its not like anyone really cares.

You brag about the features of the building the way a redneck would brag about his pickup truck or something - "oh yeah, big, armed, heavily armed, barbed wire, defensive walls - oh yeah, got the four meter ones..."

Who cares man.

um....well...uh...don't know how to tell you this but there is not one self respecting red neck that would use the word meter. Sorry. Just trying to help. Wouldn't want your insults to be diluted by minutiae.

Hi,
The reason the American Embassy is so well-guarded is because it is the building representing the most trouble-making country on the globe!
America maintains to the world press it really wants world peace...but in truth it knows that world peace would spell economic disaster for the nation!
A quick look tells you AT LEAST 35% of the GNP and DNP is directly connected to the design and manufacture of munitions, weaponry, vehicles and machines of war. Not to mention the millions who are employed in these fields AND those in the four branches of their military! World peace would bring this all crashing down! They want world peace??? NOT HARDLY!!!!!
America recognized decades ago that it was their involvement in WWII that finally brought it successfully out of the Great Depression. These maggots secretly vowed then they'd NEVER go back to a peace-mongering nation again. WHY????? Simply because there's NO MONEY IN IT!!!!
They "stir the stick" across the globe and THEN go in selling their military hardware, fighter planes, battle ships, guidances suystems, land mines, bombs, etc. etc. etc.
The world KNOWS what America IS!!!
This is the reason America has so very many enemies! This is the reason they need their embassies guarded!!!
The American Embassies across the globe will always need to be guarded....until they GO HOME and STAY HOME...and learn to mind their own business!!!
This war-mongering nation America is the hemmorhoid in the a**hole of the world!!!

and the only reason canada isint doing the same thing is because they are a bunch of vaginas that still have the queen of england ruling their country, if america is the hemeroid of the world then canada is the freckle on americas CCOK!

Seems appropriate that the Canadian Ambassador would meet with Canadian teachers.

After all, doesn't the ESL in Asia industry represent like what 1/3 of Canada's GDP?

Just kidding.

But as there appear to be more Canadians than Americans teaching here, or roughly the same number, then the Canadians here are 10 times more relevant to Canada than are Americans vis-a-vis America.

There are many many times more Americans doing business here, which is surely more of a focus for our Ambassador, as it should be.

As there are also many more times inbred jarheads.

That seems to be a key focus for you, too.

Wow, you guys seem angry. Maybe you all need to get a hobby or something. Maybe do some flag burning. I'm kidding. Seriously though, hate and anger will not make you feel better. Try not to judge people according to their government policies.

Hi,
What I wrote is completely sound and can be corroborated.
No one mentioned or tried to deny that the US uses war as a means of bolstering its economy. It's the truth....everyone knows it!
Truth be told....very few nations have ever actually asked for the U.S. (or any other nation, for that matter) to come, help and STAY forever. The attitude seems to be "You want our help...you're stuck with us meddling in your economic affairs, your politics, your way of life......forever!!" In defense of the U.S. ....it's not the only country to do this. Russia did the same thing for many decades.
It's undeniable!
I'm a realist. I am fully aware of how the nations of the world are inextricably bound to each other in the current "situation". But...no one is bound to defending ANY nation....not just the U.S. ....but any nation that uses war as means of making money and keeping its citizens employed.
So...for those who deemed my writing as a rant against the U.S.--NO...it was merely explaining why they MUST keep their embassies heavily-guarded. No country...the U.S.---or any other country, can play this game and expect to not suffer the consequences. Everything in this life (and world) bears a price. Sometimes the price is higher or more dear than we were expecting...or willing to pay.
My nationality has nothing to do with any of this. Far too many of you seem to be preoccupied with this "nationality thing". The country you were born in is merely the starting point of your life. Period. Where you end up is not all that important either! It's what you accomplish in that lifetime that is important. You're all citizens of the world.
The "My country....right or wrong!" slogan is tired and incorrect. It's always good to remember leaders of the past who revelled in this type of blind dedication/attitude from the populace. As Adolf Hitler once observed, "It is fortunate for those in power that people do not think."

No, what you wrote is nothing but hateful crap. And that is all is........CRAP.

So, take your far left bullshite, and stick it up your......a well, you get the point.
