This will mark the week that many begin their long awaited summer break in Korea...What are your plans for the summer...

Fun and relaxation or something else educational? Very Happy

I'm sheduled for two summer camps. I've bought the tents and plan on roasting hogs over a campfire with the kids.

I think I am just going to go hang out in Seoul and then check out Gyeongju historic sites. I was going to go to Jeju, but the only flights available during my vacation would allow me to only stay for 15 hours!

It's stupid for everyone to have vacation during 1 single week of the summer, especially during the unpleasant rainy season with airfares and hotels being expensive or unavailable. Anyhow, it will be nice to take a 9 day break. I haven't even seen one 3 day weekend in 6 months since the 1st part of February on Lunar New Year which has been a long stretch. You go here to make and save money, not have a good time. I will save having a good time for next winter at the end of my contract. Smile

After four years here and doing different things each year I am going to relax and enjoy time with my family this summer...We have a few friends coming by for a couple of days, but other than that and taking care of a few online things, I will get an opportunity to relax for the first time in about 2 years... Laughing

I am doing a two day English camp and then heading back to the USA to see my family for 18 days. The rest of the summer we have school half days. My school doesn't require me to sit around all afternoon though so it's not too bad. I finish at 12:30 each day.
