Can anyone help me out here. I'm not sure of the legality of this situation. I'm offered a contract that includes several morning hours at a public school, then several evening hours at a private academy. Does this sound shady to anyone? Or might it be legit?

Thanks for your help!

It can be legal on one condition : Both the hakwon location AND the public school location MUST be noted on your ARC and it is NOT legal until it is.

If you don't have an ARC yet it is not and CANNOT be done legally.
(an unregistered foreigner cannot work at more than one location)
(*foreigners MUST by law be registered within 90 days of entry).

I have heard of hagwon's being contracted to provide teachers in public schools ... Could this be one of those jobs where part of the work is done in the school and part done in the hagwon? Wouldn't this be in a similar category to people who work for hagwons and go out to teach lessons in students workplaces ? ...
