Quick question...if I were to move to Japan and wanted to bring all my appliances (HDTV, Computer, 360, etc.) that have all been purchased in Korea, how difficult would it be to safely wire up all the gear? How readily available are Korea/Japan converters?

There's a significant difference in voltage. You would need one of those transformers to downgrade the 220V to 100 or 110v. Unless they had 100-240v multi voltage abilities eg. laptops have that for worldwide use. If it's multi voltage then well you just need a plug converter. I know I wouldn't be buying a Sharp air cleaner here to take back to Canada with me. It's only 220v in Korea and I'm not interested in having a giant transformer box to change the voltage accordingly.

Have a look at each of the individual pieces of electronics in question, and see if they can handle multiple voltages.. what you are looking for is something that says AC 100~240V. If it has that, its just a simple plug/ prong adapter that is required.

FYI: Wii from North America cannot handle Korean voltage as the brick is 120v only. I hope I didn't brick mine Surprised

Yes, you can

BUT

Make sure there isn't a switch you need to flick to change from one (125v)to the other (250v).
