So it turns out that my school is unwilling to reimburse me for things I bought last year with the credit the new teachers got to furnish their apartments.
That leaves me with quite a bit of stuff I don't want them to have.
The bedding related materials can stay, no problem, but I'm thinking of the dresser, iron, iron board, humidifier, computer desk, a few other knicks and knacks.
I'm thinking give stuff to my friends and have a big bonfire.
Should I chase after them? At last year's school i was given 2million of whiched I used about half.
BAH! I'm stpuid. |

I wouldn't do it. Schools are known to send supervisers with lists to do a double check before you move out. |

But if he paid for them, and they didn't reimburse him, then he can do what he likes with it, no? |

You could just throw it out on the street like the Koreans do...
Are you sure you can't sell some of it? |

Sell some of it. Some people try to sell useless things like half used food items. Sell it cheap. Get a little back. |

I thought what he was saying was he didn't want to leave what he had brought with the set up money we get at the start of the contract ... Rather than not being reimbursed ...
No point being upset about not being reimbursed for what you have brought for the flat beyond this amount because contract clearly states that nothing else can be expected ...
At the same time ... there should be no expectation that he leave anything that he has brought with his own money ... What should be left ... and will be checked for is the things which the school provided ...
I guess if I was leaving the country ... I would probably just leave the things that I couldn't take ... that my friends didn't want or I couldn't sell that I had brought with my own money ... for the next teacher ... Nothing is gained by destroying ... or just throwing it away ...
