| There is a good chance you will arrive on the 26th. You will not arrive on the 24th. |

| when you make reservations, the agent (or computer screen) will give you date and time of arrival at your destination. |

Korea is 13 hours ahead of Easter US time zone during daylight savings time and 14 hours ahead during the winter. Typically if you leave the US early morning, you will arrive the next day in the evening in Korea. For example:
Leave 6AM on Thursday the 24th from a US city, you would arrive in Korea at around 8PM Friday th 25th. You're usually looking at 18 to 20 hours of flying with 3 to 6 hours of layover here and there + adding 13 hours for time zone difference. If you leave the US later in the day you will arrive on the 26th instead of the 25th. |

cool thank you very much. when i put in the information, it wouldn't tell me the date i would be arriving, only the time.
here is my next question....
i'm supposed to book my own flight. my employer (SMOE) told me to make reservations so that they can pay for it. but whenever i type in information for the flight, it ends up asking me to pay for it. how do i reserve the ticket without having to pay right then? here are the directions my employer sent me:
How to Make your Reservation
Make a reservation for a one-way economy fare in your name with Korean Airlines (KAL).
SMOE will pay for the ticket via a pre-arranged contract.
KAL will send your prepaid E-ticket to you before the departure date.
You are responsible for excess baggage costs and any penalties incurred if you change your flight schedule.
Domestic airlines reimbursement possible
Get reservation from the closest airport on domestic air ( if not Korean Air )- this will be
reimbursed to the applicant once applicant arrives in Korea. Turn in the receipt the first day
of Orientation. . |
