|

| I have a very early flight in about 3 weeks and would like to spend the night near Incheon. Can anyone recommend a budget accommodation near the airport. Love hotels are fine, too. Thanks... |

| Go to the airport, then take a shuttle to the airport new town and just pop into any of those motels - they are around 30-50K a night. That's what we are going to do in a 3 weeks' time, too! |

I'm spending the night in Incheon in a few days. What's the name of the "new town"? Where can I get a shuttle bus to this area?
Oh, and this is unrelated, but is there a place at the airport where I can store luggage for about 12 hours? I'm going back to the US after my contract and I'll have two suitcases and two carry-ons. I'd prefer not to lug the suitcases around town. |

My old standby is the Hub Herb Hotel (Hub Hub in Korean) 70k, its the cheapest of the bunch. their number is 032-752-1991~4, website is www.hotelhh.com call them from the airport and they will come and get you at exit 7 departure level
yes you can store luggage for 12 hours, back left at departures (past the United, Thai check in counters) almost to the end along the back wall there is a place, it may cost you 8k/bag though you have to pay a min charge which is 36 hours |

I always stay at the Incheon Airport Guest House, just a few minutes away from the terminal by free shuttle bus. It's only 38,000 for a single room that's modern and well-equipped.

Can anybody tell me the name of the "new town"? I might just get in a cab and love motel it. I've passed through the area, I think---only a few minutes from the airport---but I have no idea what it's called.
edit: Is it 운서동? The two hotels above have their address there. |

Incheon Airport New Town...is Shin Do Shee (means New Town)..the blue bus on the 3rd floor (between EXIT 5 and EXIT 6)
BUS #223 will take you there (does not go all over the island ..MOSTLY to SHIN DO SHEE) ~it comes every 10 minutes.
Shin Do Shee "downtown" is about 4 blocks by 4 blocks..... |

| THE 223 BUS costs 900 Won and a cab costs 20,000 last time I checked. (I could be wrong on this.) |

I took a cab to what I assume was the new city last week. The cab was 30,000 won, but I got it for 20,000. I didn't know of a bus that went there, so I'll be sure to use that next time.
There were a few love motels that I could see, although I couldn't find any recommended here. I stayed at the Saipan motel for 60,000 per night. It looked to be brand new, but it wasn't anything special. I'll probably try something else when I go back in a few weeks. |

| YES< the 223 bus runs until 10:30 p.m. and after that I suggest finding other people that are stuck to join up with you and take a van ...30,000 Won was a rip-off...Next time call me (mom) I have a car and I will be happy to help out. |
