I just got a 22-inch widescreen lcd. It looks fine most of the time but sometimes fonts on certain windows are blurry. Anyone know how to fix this? |

do you have the display set to the native resolution of the monitor? That can make a big difference. |

It seems that my monitor has a max resolution of 1680x1050 but when I set it to that, everything is super small. But when I set it to 1280x960, the resolution looks much better. |

set it to max resolution and
a) get glasses
or
b) set your font size bigger
Otherwise you will be running in a sub-optimal scaling mode that your lcd reluctantly supports.
Try running the 'clear type tuner' (do a google). |
