I have a Nikon D70 digital camera and I am looking to pickup some new lenses and a tripod while I am over here. I just got here so I have no idea where a good spot to even start looking for them would be. I found a camera shop in my town (Jeonju) but prices seemed to be similar, if not worse, to the prices back home. However, they did have a nice ballhead tripod for 70,000 WON which I may go back and pickup.
Are there places that anyone has found that has good deals on camera accessories while they are over here? If so where are they? |

In Seoul.
Yongsan market (terminal building, Nanjin arcade) or Namdaemun (by the gate). There are also a couple places inside the Namdaemun market that have tons of glass (and other accessories) for Nikon DSLRs.
The other option is go to HongKong or Cebu (the Nikon factory in MEPZ). Cheapest places on the planet for Nikon stuff. |
