Hi all,

There is no doubt in my mind that some of you have used technology in the classroom. Some of you have probably even used authentic materials in your classrooms or made movies such as the one I recently made:

http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=13105929

For those that have or have not done this before, I am looking for ideas for my next video. Any themes you may have that you feel would be good for an intermediate class to tape, please let me know. Share your ideas; I'd love to read them.

Ralph

I once had my students choose a movie and make a parody of it--the "Charlie's Angels" one was great! One group did "The Matrix" and another did "The Blair Witch Project."

These were uni students with an intermediate level of English. Each "movie" was under 10 minutes, and it took them nearly a month of weekends to do it, but it was great fun.

haha. Yes, I found that part to be funny as well. Also, the script read "what are you crazies talking about" but she said "what are you crazy talking about?" I love these kids.

Anyways, that video is poor quality because I had to make two: one under 100mb (for myspace) and the other which is 377 megs which is great quality.

Well done. Seems like it was a good project for the kids.

I thought in the first scene when Teacher Larph was being killed and the camera tilted up to take a shot of the ceiling fan - I thought the fan would turn out to be the killer.

ok let's go

How about : Foreign teacher buys a fake degree and does 6 months in jail.

That's drama for you.
