Have you ever found it more fun when talking with friends and refering to another person to use a nickname instead of using that person's real name?

We knew this old man who was a chain smoker. Him breathing near you smelled like the smell of death, so we called him BREATH. Smile

We also knew a tall and lanky Japanese guy who would always have his hair made up perfectly. He also had effeminate manners. We called him THE MODEL.

We called another guy we didn't like very much SPAZ.
You need to set me up with THE MODEL. He sounds like my style. Laughing

No really nasty nicknames among my friends. There was "Hungry Hungry Hippo" and "Sulphur" (for the obvious reason)... Oh! And there was an accounting teacher who, when we said we suspected he wasn't actually qualified to teach that subject, replied, "I am the most highly qualified in this school", and instantly got the nickname "Most Highly Qualified".

In high school there was a guy everyone called "Rubbernut" for obvious reasons.

One of my previous bosses was nicknamed "Titz on a Rooster" for his uselessness.

Rubbernut? You are going to have to elaborate on that one, at least for me...

One of the girls that used to be in our clique had slept with a guy who had claimed to be a stud. She found out that he was missing something.

He came to like the name, actually. I remember seeing him driving around town and we'd yell at him: "Hey, Rubbernut!" And he'd be waving and laughing all the while.

There was a new teacher to my uni a few years back that was so thin and sickly-ill looking, he looked like he could keel over at any moment. We called him 'Oxygen Thief.'

Once I was at a party, and sat next to the stereo was a fellow wearing a blue t-shirt. One of my friends wanted the music turned up, so he shouted over, "Oi! Blue Shirt Boy! Give the volume a nudge, will you?" He became known as 'Blue Shirt Boy' after that.

There was a Korean student that a few other of the teachers at my uni all had at one time. He had teeth like Ronaldinho. We called him 'Kimildinho.'

My friends and I also had a catch-all nickname for Koreans who would pester you to practice broken English at bars and coffee shops and such when you least felt like it. It started when I had undergone a thirty minute pidgin session at some bar and came back to the table where my friends were sitting. "So, could he speak English well?" asked one of my friends. "Like Lawrence fukin' Olivier," I said. After that, Koreans who liked to pidgin you to death became known as 'Lawrences.' 'Lawrence' even evolved into its own verb, as in "I took I right Lawrencing on the subway this morning."

That's all I can think of at the moment.

In high school we had a set of twins who we named 'the Wonder Twins.' Often we would shout at them 'Wonder Twin Powers...ACTIVATE! Shape of...my brother!"

At one point we even started calling their sidekick 'Gleek.'

In elemetary school, we got a new director of a program I was in. I really liked her predecessor and didn't get along with her at all. She also happened to be the aunt of the kids across the street.

In private, instead of calling her Mrs. Koch as I was supposed to, I called her Auntie Crotch.

My best friend and I nicknamed pretty much everybody in our local bar. Most of them were nicknames of convenience. Red Shirt Guy, Darts Guy, Trucker Hat Guy, Man Perm.

Some of them were a little meaner than that. We also had a freakishly tall guy named Frankenstein, and a truly unfortunate girl we called FAS (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome).

But because of my unique job as purveyor of fine adult goods just down the street, I was able to give a few people extra special nicknames. Such as Whale Tail, Chesty D, Butt Plug, Romeo, Sexy Mexy, and Dil. Dil was a mousy guy who once stole our biggest dildo from the store. We called him Dil to his face, and he had no idea why, but he never asked. Maybe he had his suspicions.

I think I mentioned this in another thread, but anyway. I grade school there was a boy with Down's Syndrome (a mild case) in our class. Now in any other school district in the world he would have been placed in special-ed, but his parents were able to influence the authorities enough to allow him to attend only normal classes, denying him the special attention he should have received.
So, anyway a week into him attending my school I realized that retard and his name Todd were pretty similiar, so my friends and I started calling him Re-todd. This became very popular with everyone immediately and he was called Re-todd by everyone. This continued at least until he finished high school. Even now, 20 years later, I still occasionally hear updates of what Re-todd has been up to by people who work with him or live near him, suggesting that the nickname stuck, and he's still being called Re-todd.

I still feel pretty bad about it.

He's been butthead ever since.

I work at a university and can't remember the name of each and every student in my class so I end up giving them my own personal nicknames such as..
Flock of Seagulls-from his hair style
nice boy
slutty boy-Lots of g/f
hair clip girl-always wore hair clips
dear-often used for the ones with the wide-eyed-dear-in-the-headlights look
helmut head

In Jr high there was Mrs. Noteware. We called her Mrs. Nightmare. We also had a guy called Skippy becuase he looked like Skippy from Family Ties.
