I have never considered making a sock either. My mother used to knit baby bootees for us but I think that was just to keep her mind off the fact that she had a child developing inside of her.
I like to have my socks sent from England. I always find the elastic lasts longer in them than the socks in Asia. Even though they are problably made out here I think the English air does something to the elastic making it last longer. |

| Here we go again, bashing knee-highs. Why do knee-socks always have to take the hits? Racism is not only color related. There are some serious hosiery haters on this forum. |
