Bupyeong (or Bupyong, or Spew-pong) is in Incheon, on the border of Bucheon, which is the smallish satellite city between Incheon and Seoul. Bupyeong subway station is about thirty minutes on the fast train from downtown Seoul.
The cities here don't necessarily distinguish themselves clearly; one kind of blurs into the other. But yeah, essentially, you could consider Bucheon (and that part of Incheon) to be very, very west Seoul.
I like Bupyeong. I have lots of friends there. Some of my aquaintances worked at an English Village around there, and while it was not necessarily horrible for them, it didn't sound that good, either...I'd be sure to get some emails from the teachers you're thinking about replacing before taking any 'Village' job, as from what I hear, they're pretty fly-by-night and sketchy, a lot of the time. They often seem to have trouble keeping staff.
Quite likely you could do better. |
