I'm looking for an art supply store in or near Itaewon. One elsewhere in Seoul, as long as the clerk speaks some minimal English. Specifically, I'm looking for the following items:
Watercolor pencils.
Fountain brush pens.
Bottles of India ink.
Sketchpads, preferably with 40lb weight paper.
If any fellow artgeeks know where I can get these things in Seoul, Pyongtaek, or somewhere near Anseong, definitely let me know. Anseong itself has one suprisingly decent art store that I know of, but it's missing the items above. |

| Closest I know is Alpha in Namdaemun market. Enter the market through the main entrance just across the street from the old gate. The store is down 80 meters from the entrance on the left. |

#4 line to hoehyeon, find the old gate
it's that entrance in the background with the white banner above it...80 meters down on the left. |

Near the front of Hongik University (green line #2). There are a few art stores that seem to have everything the students need.
I would venture a guess you could find decent art stores near almost any big uni... |
