Where's a nice place to stay in Busan? Preferably near Busan station or the Ferry to Fukuoka.
I know I can get a place for like 30 bucks in the Russian district, but rather stay somewhere decent. Think like a $50-$100 room if anyone knows a place.
Thanks. |

go to the PIFF square arc in Nampodong
walk past the theatres and hang your first right
go until you see a CD/DVD shop on your left and a Mexican/Spanish style restaurant on your far right. One of the other corners at that intersection has very nice remodeled rooms on the third and fourth floors, above a ritsy restaurant. used to be called the World Inn but changed that last time I was there |

Last year I stayed one night at the Arirang Hotel, which is literally next to Busan Station. Walk out the front entrance, look left, and you'll see it. It cost about 50,000 won, maybe more. It was all right, but I don't think the rooms had air conditioning. It was this time of year, rainy season, and my room had a leak, too. So I'm not giving it an enthusiastic thumbs-up. You could try it, and you might have better luck than I did.
