I'll leave off this and the reason is this;
-JMO has changed the thead title to what you see, which was once, 'how can I make money from spirtual ventures?', or some such(which hss sinced changed back to, in the last hour, 'how can I make money from the unknown?' . Anyway it was about how he, JMO, can make money from gullible people interested in the supernatural, god.
-He has put, in his sig, a remark I made which make me look like I think Irish people are stupid, which is very politically correct of him all of the sudden, considering he thinks all 'New Age' people are stupid and deserving of a front row seat in front of his (the other swing of the pendulum) cram-this-into-my-anti-Catholicism-as-I-was-brought-up, misguided, disrespect (which he'll call 'rationality'^^).

| So I've already mentioned a fan death alarm. Could this work? I've had no other ideas and I'm pretty sure I stole the fan death alarm from somewhere else so help me out! |

You're dying for attention, but it isn't relevant to any kind of message that will benefit anyone. It's all about how I'm out to get you, being Irish, now. The whole reason I brought Irish into it was trying to figure out, based on what you've told me/the forum, why you're so aggressively anti-religion of ANY kind. I think, and that's just me, a religion begins with how you feel. If you feel good about it that can be your religion. But you're like 'Off Insect Repellent is designed to take care of religion'. You're attracted to the whole idea of religion, anyway, except you have to squash it as it changes shape.
Talking about fan death is something.
It's nice to talk to you. Nobody usually gives a chit about it 'lest they be deceived'. Me too! |

Basically i'm not asking for serious ideas. Just funny things that you think people would buy if you marketed it right.
For example could you create some kind of product to battle fan death? Maybe a fan meter wich beeps red when there is danger. this is the kind of thing I'm talking about. |
I had the idea to sell fan death insurance...something similar to accident insurance. The fantastic part is that you would never EVER have to pay a claim, so you'd just rake in the bucks!

I'll attempt to get this back on topic because I think the OP asks an important question.
-Psychic healing of any kind including psychic surgery, as well as homeopathy, are both extremely wrong. They are preying on the desperate by selling false hope that has no guarantee to work. It's as evil as selling fake penicillin.
-Mediums who talk to the dead or help the police find missing people are parasites whose only harm is financial.
-Dowsers and people like Seoulunitarian are just deluded and believe things that have happened to them have more significance.
-Fan death doesn't seem to be benefitting anyone, and should be debunked immediately so people aren't using a myth to explain deaths.
-All faith healers, mediums, prophets, etc, who claim to receive their power through Christianity are disgracing the religion they claim to support.
-All weird religious attempts to disprove scientific theories are harmful to society and human progress. |

Well whilst I agree with you RT normally, this thread was about humorous ways to cash in on people's strange beliefs.

great idea unknown. Could this actually be done? I'm not about to set up a fan death insurance company but it would be interesting to know if you could. |

Also is there anyway to exploit the whole blood type/personality thing?
Is there relationship services/Blooptype relationship analyst where they discuss how the two bloodtypes clashing are affecting the relationship? Or how two siblings of different bloodtypes will interact? |

It got a little ugly last night I gotta admit. To tell you the truth I'm about to give up on this one. My idea for a funny thread about exploiting people's strange beliefs has been cruelly destroyed. Hold me JongnoGuru. |

I don't see why not. If the government refused to permit it, that would amount to official admission that fan death is not real. |

But people die from fan death so it would have to be like life assurance? Can you offer life assurance for specific types of death? |

No, they don't. And that's the beauty of it. Although people seem to believe in it, no coroner would ever label it as a legitimate cause of death. |
