Sign up at www.gmarket.com, they have a multi-region player, plays downloaded files you've burned off your computer, usb input etc for 50,000. gmarket has full English and if you have a korean bank account you just follow the instructions, fill in the order forms and make a transfer at the ATM to the special account no. they give you. I have one on order so cant personally vouch for it yet but have only heard good things, and gmarket seems to be a pretty well put together site for all kinds of stuff. of course, it's a generic brand so if you're holding out for a samsung... |

Transferred the cash Sunday, took delivery by courier today (Tues). From what i've seen thus far, pound for pound quite possibly the best value electronic device i've ever purchased. multi region, plays dvd and avi / divx files burned off my pc on generic discs, good remote, composite (2-channel and dolby 5.1) / s-video / optical outputs. havent tried the usb or mem card slots yet but looks like it will play files right off a pendrive. 52,000 won? looks, feels and plays like a much more expensive player, 10/10. |

That's the one. And yup, checks out on playing files right off the pendrive, and .avi with subtitles. Serious value folks. |

Does it have an external power supply or hard wired. It would be great to be able to take one back with me. |

Don't think the power cable is coming out but its listed as 110/220v, 50/60hz so should work anywhere with a standard converter. also runs pal and ntsc pictures so pretty universal |
