I've been out a fair amount with teachers from my elementary school since I got here (11 months ago). Regular eating out.

Also got invites to colleagues' houses.

It's a good way of getting to know the way that the Korean society works.

What are others' experiences of mixing/socializing with teachers?

At one time, there were CRAZY HAPPY INTERNATIONAL PARTIES, but the guy who ran them got his threads pulled, and rightfully so.
