The wall inside the Gwangju Memorial ...

By the way, I made a rough count. More names there than died in the Twin Towers on 9/11 ... course, these are people who died trying to create a democracy, and the ones in the WTC died for no damn good reason at all. Well, at least there's something that looks a little bit like democracy here now.

The Bobster in his natural habitat, a Korean minseok-jujeom ...

Some random Korean woman I met and decided to spend the rest of my life with ... she might not look real happy right here, but she is. She just thinks about serious stuff sometimes.

These both come from my handphone camera, and I have no idea how I'd go about getting the same textures in an image out of a real camera ...

Bobster, you look a lot like my incarcerated ex-neighbor, Steve Reid the bank robber.

Demophobe, I remember those images from the last photo contest I think. Class. BTW, do you still have that 1D Mark II? More importantly, how the hell did you afford it? Wink

Yeah...once upon a time in the land of disposable income...

When I buy something, I usually go for the best I can. I can live with my inability letting me down, as that can be improved, but there is no way around inferior equipment.

I sadly parted with the camera and all 7 Canon lenses. I would have posted in the buy and sell here, but the price was just too high; Spliff would have lowballed me. Razz

The camera served me very well; I have many DVDs of nice shots. FWIW Indy, I really enjoy your work. I am into entropy; what was beautiful to some is magnificent in its decay. Much like the faces of the aged are full of life; what was as the faces of children are full of the future.
