What is it really like? As a woman, I can say that while playing sports (soccer and lacrosse), a hit on the chest or even one below the pelvis perhaps stung a little...but how do those knee-shots really feel like when you get hit in the person?

It's quite unique...I've had some interesting injuries, and some really really hurt, but there's nothing like a nutting. It's a literally nauseating, deep, scary pain that makes you ache through your whole lower body.

Bouncers who fear litigation, or fear that the person they're evicting is good at fighting, will often do a little backhand slap to the nads to incapacitate the person before putting them into a jiujitsu hold. It's incredibly effective; the idea that you need to get your full weight into a nutshot is not really true. Even a half-hearted little zap is enough to cripple all but the most homicidal of freaks.

Tell me, though, what's it like getting punched in the boob? I hear that's pretty bad too.

Getting kicked in the nuts doesn't hurt so much in the nuts per say.

Where you really feel pain is in the lower abdomin.

I recently had epididymitis. Basically it felt like being kicked in the balls slowly over a long period of time. I think a large amount of the pain, and the reason we can't harden ourselves against it, is because of the psychological effect. If that part of our bodies is damaged then we're dead in the eyes of Darwin.

I'm being impatient, I know. But I imagine most of us have been smacked in the testiculars
either in a fight, during sports, or just by accident. It happens.
