It is as if she believes that muslim antisemitism was born at the same time as Israel... She wouldn't be that naive, would she? She wouldn't really believe that the muslims would let the filthy kuffar live in peace just because Israel respected some British-drawn political borders that exist on top of dar-el-islam? Is she that naive?
I don't really care all that much what happens in the area. *beep* them all. Religious nuts fucking up the world. But the idea that if the Jews just play nice so will the muslims is astonishingly naive. |

Your naiivety is mind blowing, big bird. But lets just take it apart bit by bit.

the fertile hilltops are so because the Israelis have made them fertile. if it was up to the Arabs it would be baking desert. You and many other anti-semitics make out that israel stole fertile land. No, they turned arab wasteland into useful habitable land (that has seen the local arab population mushroom due to their productivity). But thats a side point.

leaving them with virtually no territory and exposed to attack on every side

It would be the beginning of their swift and final end.

What they'd have is millions of arabs surrounding them sniffing blood and hellbent on finishing the job.

You are retarded if you think the Palestinians are fighting because they've got some strange hate on for jews.
BTW, my last post was completely off-topic and related only to postfundie's nonsense. It was not intended to tie with the OP. PF is talking specifically about the Israel/Palestinian conflict. |

This is actually the most naive part of her extremely naive post. There is no such thing as an "international community". It doesn't exist. What she means, I'm sure, is that the Americans will continue the jizzya to the palis, and the palis will, this time, spend it properly.
In reality the palis would use any money to arms themselves in preparation for the final solution to the dar-el-islam Jewish Question.
Or, would she be able to take her naivet the next step: Uber Naivete? Would she suggest kuffar peace-keepers in the territories? |

History is witness to their irrational hatred of Jews long before Israel was even established.
Hence all the palestinians gorgeing themselves of jewish blood and passing the body round to tear to pieces whenever they manage to kill one of them.
Anyhow theres no point debating with bb until she actually goes to palestine and lives as an arab woman. I don't think theres any separating her luxurious western delusions from reality until she's donned the bhurkka in Gaza....

You miss the point. Maybe you are unable to grasp it..
Lets try to be as clear as possible here:
muslims will never peacefully tolerate a kuffar government in dar-el-islam. The Israelis would have to pay tribute and obey their muslim overlords. If they do not, they will face violence and their kids will be forced to convert.
The palis are but a pawn in the Saudi-Iran game of muslim supremacy.........and so are you. |

so good that it had to be quoted again.....every watch Palestinian TV..or read what they write in Arabic Newspapers around the middle east???
I don't think BB can actually understand the implications of the term dar-al-Islam.......I've already brought this up to her when she was raggin on about people using the bible as a realestate document...still doen't really apply to the koran though |

Leftists are a wacky bunch. If you mention how muslims tend to only leave destruction and blood in their wake they instantly start going on and on about how "diverse" the muslims are. Then, when you use islam in the way the muslims do (as a justification for something) all of a sudden all religions are exactly the same and a line equating X with Y is instantly drawn. Diversity is but a mere ploy. The goal is avenging their White Guilt. |

Were they? Peaceful to who? Wow... Who told you that?
While I'm not much of a wiki booster, give the Ottoman thread a read.
In actual fact, right now might be one of the least violent times in islamic history. And it is so, because they are so weak compared to their potential rivals. |

You understate it. Western Civ has been criticizing the Church for systemic malfuctions since Luther.
|
But Voltaire, Zola, James Joyce, Sinead O'Connor, etc. were not practicing Catholics at the time that they made their criticisms. (Luther himself is debatable.) So they can't really be held up as examples of Catholics criticizing their own faith.
My point still stands: Far more Catholics have marched against pornography, abortion, homosexuality, and assorted other offenses to Catholic morality, than have ever marched to demand swift action against clerical sex assault.
And I don't mean this to come off as papist-bashing. It's basic human nature, I think. Most people prefer to join in protests where their own side is portrayed as virtuous and victimized. |

That is indeed a good point. But lets continue the line of equivalence a tad further, shall we?
Did the Catholic masses protest, call for murder, actually MURDER and firebomb various governmental buildings when Jay Leno made molestation the subject of every second joke for 2 years? Or, did they take the criticism in stride like adults? Did they call for a total ban on any criticism of Catholicism? Did they call for jail time, or death, for those who dared to mock them?
Who did? I can't remember...... |

This is loaded terminology. You know as well as I do that rioting mobs of any persuasion are not authorized to speak on behalf of "the masses". I actually find it rather amusing that you've borrowed a phrase that simpleton Marxists use to paper over divisions in their supposed working-class constituency, in order to do the same with religious groups.
In any event, I was not arguing that the Muslim world, as a whole, is just as secular and self-critical as the post-Christian west. Clearly, it is not. My point was simply that Muslim silence about Muslim criminality cannot be automatically read as support for same, because all groups are more enthusiastic about doing battle with external enemies than with promoting internal reform. |

Actually if they'd just acknowledge that Israel has the right to exist then maybe that would be a start....but the people they elected on not too keen on that are they?? |
Well, it's a bit more complicated than just being nice. But if Israel would say "Bye Bye" to the lovely green fertile hilltops of the West Bank, and retreat to pre-1967 borders, much of their problems with occupied Palestinians would be over yes. Israel wants that land. |
That's idiotic. Hamaas was elected and still refuses to acknowledge Israel. Israel gave land for peace and look at the returen-rocket attacks. Anwar Sadat spoke in the Knesset and his peace loving people did him in. Israel was the biggest proponent of partition in 1948 and even before 1967-you're quite the historian. |

You're right. I should have called them foaming at the mouth hoards of religious sickos.
BUT
At what point does "masses" become an appropriate description? Related, are you damn sure that the loud thugs don't enjoy support from the vast majority of global muslims? I really do not see any evidence whatsoever that they are being checked, internally or externally. Those who do speak up are called "islamophobes" by even the pathetic and self-serving Western leftists (A.H.Ali, for example) and much, much worse by the muslims themselves. I see virtually zero support for the dissenters and at very best veiled contempt by even so-called "moderates"
You can't make a linear comparison, by the way, and then reject that same comparison being taken to the next step. I've never thought of it before, but the cartoon jihad and molestation issue are very similar. The reactions of the "communities" in question are telling... |
