If video of Korean hostages being killed starts turning up on the internet, we're going to probably be in for another round of the tech hub of Asia cutting itself off from the rest of the world. Anyway, here's a pretty no nonsense web based proxy. Works with your cookies.

I'm sure someone will thank you for the tips on how to see people being gruesomely murdered, but it sure won't be me.
Freakin' morbid, mm2....sick. |

Strawman. If you recall the last round, Korea simply cut off access to entire domains. Livejournal, blogger, youtube, geocities, et al. I never went looking for the video but my access to several sites I used were cut off.
You're either really stretching for your little one sided game of one upmanship or displaying your gross ignorance of recent history. Anyway, just makes you look silly. |

Use TOR
or as much as I hate to admit it Nortons anonamouse Ghost Surf is actually really effectve.
The same thing happened in Thailand with websites being blocked, not just because they had content which we weren't meant to see but purely down to blanket domain name blocking.
I always imagine Demophobe sitting in his underwear and a vest rubbing his crotch and making snuffling sounds as he makes negative comments towards people in his private domain of the Technology Forum. |

Ah, I show you your premise is faulty. You simply repeat your original premise. Great. Anyway, god and I both forgive you for this attempt at bearing false witness. I hope you ask for forgiveness and make a stronger attempt next time at doing something with your god given time that witnesses to god's love, not your petty anger and need to find motes in the eyes of others.
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? |

There were 2 options in your OP, and I chose the most likely. I will stay with it, knowing you. No benefit, no doubt.

Good idea. I've tried TOR, but it's amazingly slow. I'm talking 2400 baud. It's like driving a slow car, but you decide to get out of it because you can walk faster.
If you can find a good proxy, configure your browser and surf away.
God, who started this "surfing the web" phrase. |
The TOR network used to be ok.
There was a VPN tunnel private proxy setup can't remember what it was called now.
I did use a a VPN from the UK for a while cost about 10 quid a month. Wasn't too bad. Compressed and sped up my dial up connection nicely. |
