This country really scares me sometimes. God, I love my YouTube!

Don't you think that's actually a good thing?

Freedom of speech is not complete. You don't have the right to incite violence with your speech, for example.

Taleban don't give a shytte what we or anybody else on the internet says, any more than we care what they say. These people have never even made a phucking telephone call in their lives. They are sheep herders.

Busting people for internet shouting at the Taleban is like busting people for telling the sun, "explode! kill everyone!" Is that inciting homicide? Of course not! Suns don't care what we say. Talebans don't either. To believe otherwise is a massive headupyerass whankfest.

I signed that silly petition, though, just in case. But I sure don't think it did any good, and if they are freed, I'll take no credit. Those people are in another universe. They can't hear us.

I admire the way you ignored the second half of my post.

You're either trolling or just sadly dumb.

Well, they've already been pulling this bullshit in the states for a few years. Periodically, a blogger will tell a horror story about having to have a long tedious talk with the FBI, homeland security, or the local fuzz.

I've been amazed at how spineless moderate/non-Islamofascist countires have gotten about "offending the Taliban". THe violent and completely asinie reaction to the Dutch Mohammed cartoons should have been a call to arms for every pubisher and creator to rally behind free speech. Instead, we saw cowardice in the name of "sensitivity".

Say anything you want about the USA. Print anything you want. But not the Taliban...

Typical.

On another note, I saw huge clouds of smoke coming up from the Itaewon Mosque area this morning, and I ran over there thinking someone had torched it. Turned out to be a guy on a scooter doing some mosquito-fogging.

I think this is similar to the Seoul Metropolitan Police thread.

What everybody should do is send humorous messages to the Taliban, then see how they react.
