out of the frying pan, into the fire

the beaches here are hot enough for me next week, the coastal waters on the south coast of Korea as warm as anyone could possibly want, clear and great for swimming, with plenty of beaches to get away from the crowds if one wants

i just shake my head at the thought of going to Thailand in August

though mid-October or late December I could see myself there, and will once again be tempted then to go

I am going to wait until this winter at the end of my contract to spend a month or longer in SEA when the weather is the nicest and flights are cheaper.

I did notice in yesterdays Herald that travel agencies have all sorts of flights and tours available for international travel between July 28th and August 5th.

Why do they have them all of a sudden now and not before at reasonable prices when I was researching it 1 to 2 months ago?

Yes, you can go out and buy any flight today to leave within the next few days for reasonable prices, but pay attention to visa requirements.

Have fun on vacation everyone! Laughing
