Greetings,
I'm heading over to Korea in September and am keen to take in a bit of K-League football (or ProSoccerBall2007 as our friends over the atlantic like to call it)
Does anyone know how much tickets are for matches and availability?
I think I'm going to be in Daegu or Pusan.
Cheers!

For daegu and busan(the worst attended team in the league) tickets are easy to get...
Just roll up on matchday and buy...
Cost is about 8-10 000 won. |

Yeah, it's amazing... Busan are Korea's second biggest city but their home gates are tiny. |

You might be coming just in time to see Busan crawl out of the cellar. Their new coach is pretty good. Busan has a history of letting good talent leave due to money issues, but when this new coach signed on, he made got assurances the front office would be behind him all the way. Should be an interesting second half to the season |

What about any other teams, is it pretty easy to just turn up on match day or are there some teams that you got to get tickets for in advance? Also how many westeners usually go to watch K-League??
Thanks |

Every team you can roll up on the day and buy tickets....excepting maybe Suwon on the odd occasion.
The thing is most of the teams(exc. Gyeongnam, Seongnam and jeonnam) are playing in WC 2002 stadiums which seat between 40-60 000. Way too big for their needs and the atmosphere suffers...
However clubs are starting to realize this and have plans for 20 000 seater football specific stadiums...
westerners...a few but not too many down here. IN Seoul and Suwon there are quite a few.
For foreigners in Korea interested in K-league there is a web forum shich is pretty good.
just go to www.rokfootball.com |
