I've had an offer for this school and i felt good about it in the interview, however it was in the morning before the foreign teachers were there so i was unable to talk to them. They said they would arange for one of them to get in touch with me, so i can ask more questions but i don't know how freely they will be able to talk, they also didn't let me see the accomodation and were a bit sketchy about how long it takes from the apartment to the school she said not really close but also not far about 3 bus stops away...the contract seems pretty decent compared to the one i saw from YBM, pay is 2.2m for a 1-9 gig (teaching starting at 2). The problem is the start date is august 13th so it leaves little time to think about it. I spoke to a contact i know who is a korean teacher at a different hagwon and she said Jungchul can be really strict, dock you wages for the slightest thing and force you to work more you are supposed too. Does anyone know any thing about this, i understand that they are a franchise so it could depend on the school right?
