Hey, I'm self employed and work on the internet, so I'm not looking for a job in Korea. However, I do really like the country, so I do wish to stay there for a while. Is it okay for me to live here for like 2 years on a c-3 visa as long as I make visa runs, or are they gonna bitch and kick me out after a while?

Also, will I have trouble getting a place/opening a bank account/getting an ARC card on a c-3 visa? Keeping in mind I will not be working for a korean company so no documents for me.

You can't get an ARC on a C3 visa - so that means you will be limited in what you can do (like any tourist or short term vistor would be).

Immigration may get crappy about you staying long term on a repeated C3 as well (like thinking you are working illegally) which technically you would be doing.
