Looking for a new teacher is not your job, it's your employer's responsibility. However, you should tell your employer to look at:

It's illegal to recruit in Korea unless you are a registered recruiter. Don't get caught.

BTW, OP, that is one AWESOME subject line. Rolling Eyes Read it out loud.

OP,

Your boss is using you so she does not have to pay a recruiters fee. Refer her to websites where she can pay for advertisements or look at teacher's resumes.

No garykasparov
She never asked me....i just thought i would give it a shot as she is not a good judge of character when it comes to foreigners (she thinks all foreigners are lovely)

Also, this is a small town far from seoul and busan and there is another hagwon here that has been looking via recruiters for a foreign teacher for months now with no luck

Maybe the recruiters don't bother or dont make an effort trying to find teachers for such a place as this

I want to leave my boss and students in good hands .... they were wonderful to me during my time here

Mytime, it will be tough finding a foreign teacher. Unless you are offering an exceptional package teachers just don't want to go rural. I like the country more than the city, but I'm an exception not the rule. I live in Gwangyang which is a small city, but all the hagwons and schools are having difficulty sourcing teachers. Smile

You can try:

http://www.eslteachersboard.com/cgi-bin/esljobs/index.pl

and

http://seoul.craigslist.org/edu/

there is another one called ESL Employment, which I think is also free. Try that one too.

Oh yeah, and I think http://www.myesljob.com is free for a few weeks more.

Sometimes Spliff's responses are totally inane, but he's right on this time.

It's not your job and though you have a good heart, it's illegal, difficult and is better suited for a real recruiter.

You REALLY want me to point out the many errors in this "sentence"?
