(taken from 'Culture Warrior')
*Thou Shalt Not make Any Judgment Regarding Most Private Personal Behavior. Man/Woman Is the master/Mistress of the Universe and His/Her Gratification Is Paramount.
*Thou shalt not worship or acknowledge God in the public square, for such an exposition could be offensive to humankind.
*thou shalt take form the rich an dgive to the poor. No provate Property is sacrosanct.
*Thou shalt circumvent Mother and Father in peronsal issues such as abortion and sex education in public schools.
*Thou shalt kill if necessary to promote individual rights in cases of aboition and ethanasia.
*Thou shalt be allowed to bear flase witness against thy neighbor if that person stands against secular humanism
*Thou shalt no wage preempitive war in ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
* Thouh shalt no impede the free movement of any human being on earth. All countries should be welcoming places without boarders.
*Thou Shalt not prohibit narcotics or impede personal gratification in this area.
Thouh shalt not limit the power of government in order to provide "Prosperity" to ALL.
I suggest the book, 'Culture Warrior', by Mr. Bill O'reilly.

Self-contradictory. The decision to judge others' behavior should be a respectable, free choice and a right. In saying "thou shalt not" do that, the author would commit that very sin.

That has no place in a serious, secular framework. It would give rise to lawlessness and chaos which would benefit no-one.
Quote: |
*Thou shalt circumvent Mother and Father in peronsal issues such as abortion and sex education in public schools.
|
Sounds reasonable to me.

Nothing to do with secularism. A person advocating a return to theocracy might issue the same commandment.
Quote: |
Thou shalt be allowed to bear flase witness against thy neighbor if that person stands against secular humanism
|
This is totally incompatible with the first commandment.
Difficult to believe this stuff was written by an adult.

Excluding the free movement of theists and anyone who opposes secular humanism, presumably?
So, all the Mexicans and Muslims entering the US and Europe will have to be vetted for being secularists and happy to accept the above restrictions on those who oppose secularism, correct?
Quote: |

|
Strawman.
(1) Thou Shalt not prohibit narcotics
(2) Thou shalt not impede personal gratification in this area
Many calls to end prohibition advocate (1) but not (2) and many drug users happy with a black market situation advocate (2) but not (1).
It's rather less straightforward than the writer seems to think. Marijuana is not a narcotic either, for author's own information. A narcotic is a drug that produces analgesia, central nervous system sedation and sleep. So the author, by using the term 'narcotics', has (unwittingly I suspect), excluded pot smokers, meaning pot must remain prohibited.

But we already limited the power of government in previous commandments - no judgements, no private property being sacrosanct, abortion and euthanasia issues, promotion of individual rights, right to bear false witness against thy neighbor if that person stands against secular humanism, no preemptive wars, no borders.
Honestly, the riff-raff in the media. |

I disagree, he isn't a tool. He's just a tad retarded. Not his fault, really.
Are you seriously suggesting that people read his books? That's idiot distraction stuff. There are good conservative writers/thinkers in the USA. B.O. ain't one. |

yeah, not only that, but he is beating the crap out of the other mainstream media outlets in the country.
I love it...............................people get so mad when a man who....
1. Publically claims to belive in God.
2. Openly supports his country, but does not slander it.
3. Gets the old "check and balance" going on other media outlets.
4. Goes after those who are doing injustice...well, not "goes after" them,
but seeks them out to and asks questions.
5. Has proof to back up his points
6. Is traditional
Keep it coming.....!

Bill O'Reilly is a Republican mouthpiece who claims to be a political independent. His only talent is yelling at people and turning off their mic. |

Well, if you don't actually have anything tangible to give about his reporting, facts, and presentations (We all know he can get carried away once in awhile............OH NO!), then it is natural for you to go to personal attacks that really dont' have much to do with anything.

1) Do you think, in America, going public with theism or atheism would be more difficult?
Did you know that atheists are the least trusted group in the US? Even less than muslims!
2) My mother drunk or sober?
3) Yes. He calls others liberal and then yells at them. Great check!
4) Examples?
5) Well, what point and when? Give evidence of his evidence.
6) What does "traditional" mean? He hates gays? He wants women in the kitchen? Further explain. |

1. Yes, many of them fall in the SP category.
2. What?
3. Ah, but he has also stated that there is a difference between a liberal
who cares about the country, is not full of hate, etc....vs.....your
far, left wing SP chump.
4. Watch his show, read his book (EX....states who are not enforcing
"Jessica's Law", nut job judges who allow convicted criminals (and
illegal aliens) to go free), a school in district in Colorado who was
enouragin the youth to "go out and have sex", "go out and do drugs"
.....................need more? Watch his show.
5. Do your own research......don't make me spoon feed it to you.
6. Give proof that he has said he hates gays, women in the kitchen. He
has never said, nor suggested such claims. |
