Hi Hows it going? I'm Looking for some good advice on teaching Business English in Korea in terms of moving into this teaching area and what to expect- from the expats out there!! Cool
I graduated with a Marketing degree at University then worked in different commerical roles for a few years. after redundancy I've found myself in a boring factory job and ultimately in a bit of a rut. Shocked .
I am looking at flying out to Seoul this October to see if its for me, interview and check out potential employers. Is this possible? (I have a rented flat and a car so don't want to give everything up on a whim.)
Up to now I'm preparing for a new career in TEFL. Done some volunteer work at a local school and have a weekender course lined up next month.
I'm planning to (hopefully) gain a teaching job in business english!!
Is there anyone out there from a similar background whos done this or who knows if its possible to go straight into this kind of teaching in Korea? Seems alot of you out there are teaching just children.

Mhhh

wouldn't you need a business background (BA or MA) to be teaching proper business courses?

Marketing and sales are not the only ones with difficult words Smile.
