is this possible??

i bank with keb and i can do a lot of domestic transfers this way but have no idea if i can do international...

i usually just go to the counter and do it with the help of a personal banker who does it manually and the transfer is in my nz bank account within 4 working days....

thanks

Pretty sure you can only do domestic transfers via ATM. There's a lot more paperwork involved with the international stuff.

However, I do enjoy the mayhem that ensues whenever I make this request. Watching tellers mill about behind the desk, running to and fro, etc. In my head, I always hear the theme song from Benny Hill.

Yes you can set up your domestic ATM card to do wire transfers at KEB, I do. Just go in and ask them about it and they'll set you up. You have to give them some info like receiving bank name acct # etc...and tell them what currency you want the transfer in. You can transfer to one bank not many banks overseas.

I have a Woori Bank acount and I have set up both domestic and international money transfer options. Once you set it up, you then have to get a special code from the bank which you have to enter in the ATM before your transfer will go through. Other banks may be different.

No special code at KEB...you just hit the wire transfer option, key in the amount and hit go, that's it as the com already has the bank info for the transfer...easy as pie 24/7 and no ratty tellers to deal with.
