If only the media would give him more coverage. I hadn't seen any news about his campaign until Ya-ta's article above. |

Richardson just isn't that charismatic like Obama and he doesn't have the star power like Hillary. Media doesn't care about him because he has no style.
Kind of like in the Republican field. Duncan Hunter is a good candidate and maybe the best overall for the Republicans, but nobody ever mentions him. Yet they fawn all over Fred Thompson (an actor), McCain (war hero) and Giuliani (colorful private life and 9/11's main man). |

Not exactly a ringing endorsement, eh? That's the problem with a two-party system: we usually end up voting for the lesser of the two evils.
I'm an Independent, contrary to how the liberals flocking to this thread would like to portray me. So I'm not thrilled about the Republican slate, either.
But if you're going to vote Democrat, at least vote for someone with some integrity.

Yeah, you've got a point there. Bill is certainly good at triangulating positions for the bedroom, at least.
To All the Hill-Bill Crowd here:
It's amazing what logic your support conjures up: we know she's a liar but she's OUR liar. She's one of us. Doesn't speak well of the American electoral process these days, does it?
Anyone who votes party line as a point of opposition rather than on the merits of the candidate does a huge disservice to the process of governance in my opinion. Anything less than voting for the candidate is unethical and counterproductive in my book. And it makes your moral outrage over Bush's perceived trangressions ring hollow too.
Mark my words: if Hilary is elected she will only further divide an already divided citizenry. She's a liberal in moderate clothing--nothing more. Don't kid yourselves. |

McGarrett,
I never said she was a liar or a fake. What lies would you allege she has made?
I prefer Richardson, but if Clinton became President I would be happy. |

No. It has nothing to do with being a Democrat or a Republican, which are just different fleas on the same dog.
I just don't like the possibility that if she gets elected and then re-elected, the White House would have been under the control of only 2 families (Bush/Clinton/Clinton/Bush/Bush/Clinton/Clinton) for 28 years.
After Hillary, who's next Jeb Bush? I don't like the idea of "royal" families. Time for new blood. |

I have nothing personally against her - in fact I like her personally but I will go the Republicans whoever they select .
The Republicans might not be able to manage anything but to me that is better than the Democrats who just stick there heads in the sand and pretend their is no problem.
For the record the best Democrat out there is Joe Biden by far. |

I see you learned brevity while I was out, but whoever said "Brevity is the soul of wit" didn't tell the whole story.
You've got brevity down. Now work on the wit. |

Joo, you never cease to amaze me. Joe is the one who got caught cribbing one of Tony Blair's speeches, back in his pre-poodle socialist days. |

He still has better ideas than the other Democrats, his idea to divide Iraq is now be accepted as the best solution and he was the only one who voted to fund the troops even though it would cost him votes. That shows is a lot more integrity than Clinton or Obama. Included in the funding was the money for the MRAP (mine resistant vehical) which saves the lives of troops. Biden explain his vote as that he would rather do the right thing and lose the nomination than vote the wrong way and win the nomination.
Clinton does what ever is popular at the moment and Obama's solution is to pretend that inconvenient problems don't exist (which is real convenient for him. )
Biden does do what he thinks is popular , nor does he run away from difficult issues and just answer with sound bites. He does what he feels is correct.
Clinton doesn't seem to have any real principles and Obama doesn't seem to have any real substance.

There are no good candidates for 2008
Comrade Edwards: Communist Hypocrite. A millionaire who goes around preaching about poverty and uses his wife's medical condition to win votes. He wishes to turn America into a Workers Paradise. Basically, he'll never get the nomination and never be elected.
Obama- Just a guy who has no ideas and no idea what he's doing. There's nothing new or fresh about him. Just an old school liberal.
Hillary- She's got about as much depth as a puddle. Her Presidency would simply be Bill's 3rd term. Unfortunately, she will get the nomination.
Gulliani- A cross dressing weirdo who's been married three times. He'll never get the Republican nomination.
McCain- A republican who is hated by republicans. I have no idea why he's even trying.
Romney- He will never get elected, I have no idea why he's even trying. Americans do not elect mormons and Republicans do not nominate former liberals. |

ill vote for Obama (or Fiengold). I don't like Hillary's foreign policy. She reminds me too much of the US foreign policy of, well, always. haha.
That being said, She's not too bad. Although it is sad we speak of our politicians with the qualifier "She's/He's not too bad". I do suspect this applies to every country. |

Who is "Harry Trumen?"
If you want to refer to Harry S. Truman, I would like to know why exactly (but for their common first names) you associate them with each other. |

| Hillary is too right wing on foreign policy. I'd throw my vote away on Nader before I voted for her. Hopefully Obama get the nomination. A candidate who opposed the invasion of Iraq from the very begining. |
