I recently bought a DS and R4, and last night was able to successfully download Mario 64; but today after downloading 2 games, neither will transfer to the chip because, it says, there is not enough space.

I find this impossible, because I don't have that many games -- about 15 -- on the chip; but apparently I have only 19MB of space available (the games are about 64MB each).

I've tried deleting some of the games that I know I won't play, but still no space is freed up. Any idea why that would be?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

64*15= 960

If you have a 1gb stick only leaves about 19mb or so

Right, but how is it that when I delete games no memory is cleared?

Are you sure you are deleting the games and not just the save game files?

The save game files are created in the same directory as the games and they have the same filename.

Problem solved: turns out the games I deleted were still taking up space in my trash bin.
