The white complex i feel in the mirror of each day reflects the culture that holds me in a prison and yet wants me to fly away to a land of 'Where is it?' across the sea and mountains somewhere where one white race landed in viking ships and brought blood to mingle in each race Anglo-Saxon and the Normans living on the blood of an English mun i read 'Jack and the Beanstalk' as a kid too but felt the Englishmun was just a joke.

Now it's as if the Englishmun is a reality and the beanstalk grows more and more day by day since in an English world the years are like water compared to history we sailed across to forget and burned some ships off the Atlantic coast in case we wanted to stay like we did thinking this is 'The New World' now gone before my eyes the visible traces of ancestory the day i landed in a world without the contrasts of faces bleached white from some obscure land of races i never knew.

Nor want to except the fact that they know, these people, looking at me in the daily mirror of their society's magnifying glass glare that methinks must mean i came from somewhere but not this shore or that or even over there but the worst must be i came from the world of some fairytale like Jack and the beanstalk and the giant of humanity i face here shouting
"fee fi fo fum I smell the blood of an. . .Americun."

I'm fifth generation Australian (last ones came to Oz around 1860, first ones 50,000 years ago) of mainly English, Scottish and Irish pedigree with a dash of Jewish and Aborignal (Wiradjuri, as far as I know) ancestry.

Basically I'm of mongrel stock, though unfortunately as far my family can determine, none of our ancestors were convicts.

Meatball (Swede), Kraut, Pom, Scotch, Frog, Bohunk (Slovak), and quite probably some Mick and Taffy mixed in on the Olde American side. 250 years in the US, chances are there's other stuff too.

I consider myself a mix. Better mongrel than inbred, I say.

Some parts of my family tree are very well documented. The coolest name I saw on the old Aussie-Scottish line was "Blood." My great-great-great-great-great-great Granny, apparently, was named Mary Blood. Damn, that's a cool name!

Quick question

I'm stunned and embarrassed. I was so hung up in the lack of proper punctuation that I entirely missed the reappearance of Bulsajo.

Welcome back. Very Happy

So can spelling.

It's ancestry, not ancestory.
