| Every media outlet is biased. I was listening to MPR the other day and this man was on who said he was building a new media outlet to be called the independent news agency. He went on to say his goal was to offer balanced, objective news. And then he said he was a progressive liberal. Now how in the hell is he objective? This is the ignorance and condensation of the liberal mind at work. They have failed so miserabily in a market driven economy they have to make excuses and try and pass legistation to change the rules i.e Talk Radio. Anyone who soley relies on Faux news or the Communist News Network is a ignorant fool. Research the issues and stop listening to these left wing nut jobs who want to use the government to regulate what you see and hear. |

Alan Combs is one liberal on Fox News .
Anyway much of what Fox reports is raw news right off the newswire.
You have shows like Bill O'Reilly but does anyone really think he is hides his bias?
and anyway doesn't MSNBC have Keith Oliberman and Chris Matthews ? |
Colmes is a punching bag for Coulter/Hannity, and the fact that they went out and got the most nebbish, Woody-Allen looking guy to contrast with the square-jawed Hannity speaks to Fox's cynicism.
MSNBC, much to their own shame, recognized the new economics of partisan reporting and immediately brought Olbermann on board. While he obviously views himself as some kind of modern-day Murrow, his ten-minute rants serve only to underscore the fact that he is far from a journalist and more akin to Dennis Miller.
It's the interneting of modern journalism, and it's a damn shame. There's a place for blogs and there's a place for objective reporting. The problem is when the line gets blurred between the two. |
