As if the news couldn't get any worse for the Republican Party. It is now being reported that the GOP is losing its grip on a once stalwart base, married women with children.
Married women with children have helped guide Republicans to two straight National victories. Notwithstanding, it would appear that some in this once bulwark group are ready to bolt and vote for a Democrat in the upcoming Congressional election.
The driving force that is allegedly moving these women away from the GOP and in to the waiting arms of Democrats is said to be President George W. Bush, and his handling of the war in Iraq, the Katrina debacle, and the "Sluggish Economy."
Hold your horses, where is this information coming from? Why that reputable network known quite well in the Arab world as CNN. A CNN poll is about as reliable as a Meteorologist saying that downtown Honolulu will be hit with a blinding snow-storm on Christmas morning.
At any rate, the CNN "Poll" cites as one of its respondents, a 30-year old woman who told the "Reporter" that she was a Republican. Now, most of us realize that CNN has no great love for George Bush. No doubt the feeling is mutual. CNN is the "News Gathering Organization" that had a reporter in bed with Saddam Hussein prior to the start of the 2003 Iraq war. Does the name, Peter Arnett set off any bells for you? Arnett was the guy doing his best "Baghdad Bob" impression for Hussein. Bob, if you will recall, was the funny little information officer for Saddam. Really, this guy was hilarious. But, I digress.
CNN is the company whose former head honcho, Ted "Delusional" Turner recently told a gathering of "Journalists" that he still hadn't made up his small brain on whether he was in favor of us going to war or not.
Getting back to this 30-year old "Republican" and mother of two, CNN quotes this woman as saying, she will vote for the Democratic candidate in her Congressional District this year, "because of the way that everything's been handled with the GOP in charge of Congress and Bush in the White House."
Ladies and Gentlemen, if you are a staunch Republican, you are part of a family. Coming from the south, I was taught at an early age there are two things that a family does not do, (1) Air their dirty laundry in public, and (2) Take the side of another family in a dispute.
Is the CNN "Poll" reliable? I rather doubt it. We need to remember that as scientists, folks like this writer, have to make sure that a poll is (a) Reliable and, (b) Valid.
Reliability has to do with the results of the poll being consistent. In other words, could a different experimenter using the same testing tools used by the previous examiner obtain the same results. If the answer is "NO", then the poll lacks reliability.
A Valid poll is only valid if the experimenter is measuring what he or she is purporting to measure. In the case of the CNN poll, the respondents were asked if they were Republicans, and if they were voting Republican this year. If the pollster "Lead" the respondents, then guess what? The pollster would have gotten the answer that he/she wanted. However, the poll would lack validity. The collected data would have to be thrown out.
There was no chance that CNN was going to toss out the results of its "POLL." Because these poor excuses for a scientist got what they wanted. Bad news for President Bush. But, good news for the Democratic Party.
Folks, anyone with half a brain understands that these polls conducted by groups like CNN, CBS ABC or NBC recognize their polls lack reliability and validity. These water carriers for the Democratic Party all have an agenda. First, they want the results of their polls to jibe with their political ideology, and secondly, they want the results "Of Their Polls" out for public consumption, as soon (ASAP)as possible.
The results of these bias polls are not for the benefit of John Q. Public. They are poorly designed on purpose for the political satisfaction of those who oppose the agenda of the GOP.
Pay very close attention to Matt Laurer and Tim Russert the next time you see these two partisans discussing the results of an NBC poll on the President. Notice how they can barely contain themselves from salivating all over the sets in their respective studios.
These two lefties realize that they are sending out flawed data to millions of Americans. And you want to know something? They don't care. Because they are betting on you not understanding the difference between a flawed poll; and one that is done minus any bias from the experimenter.
As we head in to the November 7th election, look for more and more polls to be conducted. It would not surprise me if the left performs two to three polls a week prior to November 7th. Why? They are trying to "CONTROL" your thinking.
Keep in mind folks that these people are betting that you are "TOO STUPID" to see through their bias reporting. The people at CNN and the like are working overtime to try to dissuade you from either voting; or to switch your support from a GOP candidate, to that of a Democrat.
Show the CNN's, Matt Laurer's, and the Tim Russert's that you can see through their charade; and that their "COVER HAS BEEN BLOWN."[/quote]
Oreilly would be proud.

Wow, there's not a single verified fact or assertion in the whole 'article'. Reminds me of this, actually:
I think this is my favourite part:

Ted "Delusional" Turner - zing! And you know he's delusional because he didn't make up his mind on whether to go to war or not. |

OK....Ok............
Rather then post a clever cartoon strip which glorifies your point, give us some proof or that those polls are credible.

Honestly on a side note................I'm surprised the grammar/spelling nazis have not shown up yet. |

Gee, why would a guy who constantly gets sued for sexually harassing his staff members have it out for the ACLU?
Hey, dmbfan... Who's next on your list of esteemed cultural truth-holders?

| If I wanted O'Reilly level analysis, I'd watch more WWE. At least they can be honest about being theatre. |

Good job, guys!!!
Rather then provide some credibility as to why Bill Oreilly is a tool, a pervert, and has the same broadcasting skills as the WWE, you just resort to character insults................nice work, guys!
Oh, however.....we do know about the sexual harassment scandal. Whether it is true or not, I don't know. But, I'm quite sure that you will believe what you WANT to believe...not based on facts and research.
But hey, as I said....we all have our opinions.

Hey! How about giving us the opinions of some well-known drug addicts and passing them off as social wisdom as well?
By the way, Rush got supported by the ACLU during his drug addiction problems.
Which I think does support your claims of them trying to destroy the moral fiber of America by supporting the dregs of society. |
