I've been having a tough go at organizing my ipod. I have a 60GB video and want to sync my music but not sync my movies. Basically, I have no hard drive space so I want to delete the videos from my comp after I put them on my ipod. However, when I go to sync, which I do to update my songs, my videos get deleted off my player. Can I just sync music and not movies?
I've tried unchecking the sync box on the movie tab, but that does nothing. It's seems like this is a flaw with the ipod, everything else(games, photos, schedule) can be synced individually, but music and movies have to be together.
Any ideas? Thanks. |

| Try keeping the videos on the computer, syching them with the ipod and then deleting the videos from the source on the computer. As long as you are not storing the videos in the itunes library, but are still displayed in itunes they will remain in the ipod. |
