I went there today to check out some train timetables and the usual inquiry/reservation link is gone.
http://english.barota.com/
Looks like they redid the site. Is it just me or is are the train timetables not to be found in English anymore? |

According to the Q&A section of the website,
"Sorry , our website is renewed.
"Do not anymore
make a reservation, check the time and seat through this website."
Korea sparkling!
This irritates me. I can use the korean site (www.qubi.com) but I preferred the English site. |

Their new page if awful. You'd think it would be easy to make a reservation as that is how they make money.
Korea: YOUR TOURISM IS FAILING FOR A REASON.
A hint to everyone: Go to google and type "barota, reservation" You will find the page you are looking for. |

Just a few days ago, I checked the time and seats of trains by googling: Barota, reservation, English. |

Worked for me too (the google search) up until a few days ago.
I guess the people that re-did the web site had left a few crumbs behind, and now they cleaned up. |

Yea, I have been searching for train schedules now that Barota is down with no luck. I guess, we just guess at it by showing up at train stations, but that means waiting around as long as 1 1/2 hours for the next train. |

I heard that they were rebuilding the site and that only members with KTX cards could see the schedules and make reservations. But that was on the Korean site. |
