Jun education..I had a guy named Raymond recruit me. I asked for a one bedroom apartement near the school and told him, that is the only requirement I had which I thought was pretty reasonable. What does he do..nothing.

I ended up in a hotel and had to find my own apartement and to make matters even worse he took off to New York. He then asked me to contact another recruiter at Jun Education, and that this recruiter would look after me. This is what I ended up getting from Scott
at Jun education when I refused to give ASN International my banking pin number.

This is an example of how I was treated because I wanted to protect my own interests and not allow them to commit fraud under my name. Anybody that can work for animals like this has to be sick.

You know who I am?

Yes, This is Scott who is Raymonds co-worker.

Ive got a phone call from ASN boss who is favor me that to tell you something.

He said you fire!

Helen will tell you again but they want to me that to tell you before they tell you.

Anyway this is not kidding so just pack it up and prepare to leave.

Thats all.

From Scott

But, you are not alone when it comes to the dealings of the mentioned recruiting company in your post.

Good luck, keep your head up.

Yep really sorry to hear about your situation. I thought you got out already? But..not to sound like a total arse but you should have done your hw. I dont think this is the first time Jun Education has been blacklisted....there are other threads here about them too.

My friend also had a bad experience with Jun Education. After he experienced some difficulty with the hagwon owner, the recruiter gave up on him, wouldn't help him with job assistance, and told him to get lost.

I mentioned the search bar wasn't working properly and there was no way to search on information for Jun education on Dave's cafe because the search only allows one word..Besides when I had my info at another recruiter in Korea and didn't take that specific job he called the recruiter and requested my documents before giving me the chance to choose between jobs.

Search function permits more than one word:

Search for any terms or use query as entered
Search for all terms

This is funny, recruiters are there to look after/ take care of the schools, not the teachers... Very Happy

laconic- If the search function works for you, then you're the first.

OP-THANKS for posting this warning for others.

I seriously doubt that I am the first, but feel humbled by such a distinction if I am.

Searching for "Jun" under "any terms" produced:

"Search found 7821 matches"

Searching for "Jun Education" under "all terms" produced:

"Search found 627 matches"

The second one being this thread.

Conclusion: Search function does work with more than one word entered and does produce different results than a one word search.

wow, man that sucks. i had the best experience ever with raymond. In my first job I totally got screwed, and then raymond helped me find exactly what I wanted and helped me change jobs. They even offered to lend me money, as my new employer wouldn't pay me for over 1.5 months etc etc.... they were awesome for me.

where is raymond now?? does he know about this?

I asked Jun four or five tomes to hook me up with only private or public elementary, middle, or high schools in CERTAIN AREAS of Seoul. Julie and Nathan sent me info about hogwons - Wonderland, Kids Club, and the like - in places that are not in Seoul.

Incredibly, Nathan told me that Wonderland has a good reputation amongst foreign teachers.
