I listened to this and realized how much I miss hearing the Jamaican accent. Do you think your students will have a hard time understanding it? To me it is as plain as day but others seem so confused by it.

Sure! Students need to be exposed to a variety of accents, which is what I like about this series. And it's not too hard to understand.  |

Jizzo,
I've spent a good while collecting the best of the best from many many sites. So go to my batcave and click either of the two video sites or the prof. development button which has a mixture of stuff. Some videos have descriptions of how to use.

Just to mention a few....
Lots of teacher prof. development. Presentations. Tv commercials. Stories and digital stories from children (Discovery channel). Many from teachertube. Routine and Real English on Grammar. Cartoons and especially, grammar man. Videos to promote debate truetube.co.uk Sesame street, autobiographies, a lot of kids videos on specific vocab/experiments......all this just off the top of my head. Many also very inspirational videos like the Hoyt family.
Don't forget the Extra English series of videos and workbooks...

Sometimes I wonder if it's just me because people act like the Jamaican accent is Klingon or something  |
