Anyone know of a good bank in Seoul or northern Gyeongido to exchange Russian rubles for Korean Won? Nonghyup bank? KEB? An address would be good. |

the ruble is not fully convertible, so you may have a difficult time of this.
how much are we talking about? |

23,000 rubles? Gotta be. About 825,000 won. Won't any of the banks downtown take it? Maybe the money changers around Dongdaemun or Itaewon?
Good luck... |

I got 743k won from the KEB in Geomcheon. Not a great rate but better than nothing All banks cover themselves for currency fluctuations, & I won most of the rubles at a Vladivostok casino anyway. |

It is difficult, although not impossible to change Roubles to Won in Seoul, as K banks don't like dealing with Roubles.
The handful of currency shops around Dongdaemun stadium (near the Mongol street) will do it for an ok rate.
