I went to Technomart today and was struck by this ad for something or another. What really struck me was two fold:

1) The model in the ad I found really really beautiful, strikingly beautiful. Oddly I almost never see strikingly beautiful Korean women used in ads. There are lots on the street, mind you. But for some reason they just don't make it in print.

2) She also has some pimple on her nose. It's not a bit of dirt. The ad in other parts of technomart have the same mark on her nose. And another ad of her from a different angle also reveals the nose pimple. Hrm. Odd they didn't photoshop it out. Would have been rather easy. Slipshod or is this the model's thing? Like Cindy Crawford's mole kind of transformed her from some run of the mill catalog model to super model status. So maybe this is her gimmick.

not sure where you've been but I have seen her in ads in print, tv, subway since I moved here two years ago

OH NO SHE HAS A MARK ON HER NOSE SHE MUST BE DAMAGED IN SOME WAY WHY ON EARTH WOULD ANYONE FEATURE A WOMAN IN AN AD WITH A TINY MARK ON HER NOSE? WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO????

Korean celebss don't need photoshopping anyway. They have great skin period.

wow how long have you lived in Korea? I'm surprised you dont know Jun Ji Hyun...she's freakin popular! She's known as the queen of advertisement.

BTW, she's debuting in Hollywood pretty soon. her hollywood name is going to be Gianna Jun.

That girl cleans up nice for magazing shots and TV commercials (super nice, in fact), but when you see her movies, in which she has less than 20 pounds of makeup, you can't believe how "plain-Jane" she is. Not noteworthy at all.
