Oh, and she's not from Hezbollahn. That's pretty key. Stop being so Hezbollah-centric. I think you're overly focused on Hezbollah. You can't write with an even hand.

Consider yourself dismissed.

Nice try. I'll answer with a question: What's the difference between an American nationalist and an American partisan Republican?

A partisan Republican would put his party before all others. A nationalist would put his nation before all others.

Of course it's not quite that simple, but that's my answer.

It's a good short answer, anyway. Hezbollah is not a nation but it is a political party. It is the kind of political party that really fights for its existence in a way that even the Republican party in America does not. Hezbollah has its own arms and even funding from foreign states.

It is not a nation, but it is a(n armed) political party. Its not so far from a nation, in my mind.

OK...Do you consider Big Bird a member of the Hezbollah party/nation?

As I said in my first post, I think that's pretty key.

First of all, I do not consider Big Bird a Hezbollah booster. She is not. I consider her to be sympathetic to Hezbollah, however.

But whether or not any of this is true, a person can be a nationalist with regards to a country they were not born in.

Some of the posters listed wouldn't have the heart for violence, myself included, and would resort to it only as a last and desperate solution. Of those less inclined to wring their hands over dead babies and 'regrettable collateral damage' I would pick Gopher as the most dangerous. That's because he'd probably do it with a certain amount of conviction, and he'd probably go with the philosophy that the ends justified the means, but I think he'd be fairly cerebal about it and think things through, unlike some of the monkeys listed up there. He's also an ex-marine, and he's studied enough history to give him a bit more of a clue about what might work - so he'd probably end up wreaking more damage.

For the record Hezzbollah is a hate group like the Klan. In fact they are far more radical than the Klan.

And what they dream of is a Khomenist revolution throughout the mideast.

Their immediate goal is Lebanon but IF they ever got that it would not stop there.

Another poster (safeblad) more or less identified them.

The ones in bold .

Chavez is an enemy but the US should not attack him rather the US ought just not buy oil from his country . He could sell it to China but he will have to sell it to them at a discount because China doesn't have a lot of facilities to properly refine Venezuela's heavy crude.

Don't worry about it I would have voted for Gopher over me too.

What I wanna see is a Gopher versus Kuros versus Mosley election. I would have thrown in Bulsajo for honorable mention.

I would have done it too except I wanted the names to be exactly on the same as the other thread.

It is just too bad that EFL trainer is not here to see Gopher running away with the election.

For this thread it is the Baathists, Jihadists and the khomeineists.

I know a more than a few don't consider them the enemy , and even a few that support them against the US. That is why some of the votes are the way they are and also why not many are willing to state their reasons for voting as they did.

I could not have written who is the most dangerous to the Baathists, Jihadists khomeineists cause there is not enough room for such a title.

If there is any one out there ( and I know there is ) that think the US goverment is the enemy and want to know who is most dangerous to it then they ought to make their own thread.

As I said more than a few will not state their reasons for their choice. Being dangerous to the Baathists, Jihadists and khomeineists isn't a bad thing - it is a good thing.

This poll isn't as hard to judge as the other one. Just take a few facts into consideration based on the activity of a poster on the board:

-Who creates enemies and causes conflicts when other posters would chill and avoid making a problem? These people would likely find themselves with a lot more enemies to fight off were they in power, so however good they are at conflict a lot of the conflicts they would be engaged in would be of their own making. So take them out of consideration. And:

-Who is capable of resolving problems between other posters, and when that fails, is capable of destroying the position of the other poster without remorse, and without even a grudge afterwards? (because once the problem's solved you turn your attention to other things - holding a grudge once there's no reason to do so any more is another waste of resources)

That only leaves Adventurer and On the other hand, but I'm going to give the edge to the latter.
