i'v tried http://ktx.korail.go.kr/eng/ but when i click onto english, i can't seem to get any info on train times.
i'm interested in trains from seoul/deajeon to busan
any help would be appreciated |

excellent - thank you. do i need to book a seat or am i safe to get on at daejeon (i'm travelling on a saturday) i've not used the train before, so i'm not sure how busy its going to be... |

Dunno. Both days of the weekend can be busy, especially now that school vacation is in effect.
Here's a hint. Most department stores (not Emart), offer KTX ticket sales. You have to go to the customer service desk, which is usually on one of the uppermost floors.
I'm saying this if there is a store close to you. You could go there easily to pre-buy your ticket. |

The barota website got redone and they took away the English reservation and timetable page. It also showed you how many seats were left.
