You'd be surprised how many friends I have. I'm often surprised myself. You, however, are merely tolerated, and just barely. You've been banned at least once, and it appears you learned nothing from the experience.
Find some love, balgan kae. You have never EVER expressed a single word of kindness for any being, living or dead, but oh, you are fond of the name-calling thing.
I don't generally insult people. If I call you a liar, it's after I've done the work of showing where you lied. If I call you a hypocrite and shove your face in it, I did the work to show everyone exactly how and where. For instance, criticizing someone for insults and then hurling epithets like "crackhead" at the very same moment. And there's no malice to what I do, though there is a great deal of it in you - I really don't care about you, you see. People need to know that the things you say are medacious, incorrect and dangerously extreme.
I can tolerate your being here, but I will tell people when you are lying, and when you are simply wrong. And you will respond with mere name-calling, largely proving the truth of what I say about you. |

It's always fun to be called a liar and a hypocrite by such an obvious liar and hypocrite. When have you ever told the truth on these boards, Bobster?
As far as your "friends" are concerned, they're nothing to brag about. I saw that post from Otis before it was deleted ... |

I've met the Bobster on a couple different occasions. And this was even after he had this to say about me:

The Bigot Brigade speaks, yet again.
Proving that some among us are no better than the monsters who destroyed the towers to start with. |
Now, despite the fact that I'm equal to or worse than the terrorists who bombed the World Trade Center, I enjoyed talking to the Bobster. I get the feeling he is more worked up online than he is in person, perhaps like a lot of us are. |

Regardless of how charming you found him, I doubt he's met any of the Korean animal advocates he badmouthed just now ... more importantly, he's completely clueless about their work and their motives. He really needs to STFU. |

Never badmouthed any Korean animal advocates. I only said things that are true. I've never told YOU to shut up, and I won't, but you need to stop lying. |

You're the one who's lying ... in this case, by totally misrepresenting the facts. You have zero regard for the truth, and that's always been the case ... as you've shown repeatedly on these forums.
I've got an idea: Why don't you speak to some Korean animal people and ask them what they're trying to accomplish. Ask how theyre going about it and why they didnt decide to do things your way. Then you can come here and pontificate about why your way is so much better. |

My sig came from the movie "Evolution" when they were in the mall passing out shotguns and getting ready to hunt down the dinosaur thing. It was in response to Stiffler asking the black guy if he knew how to use a gun. |

Um, you're calling me a liar, but you have not bothered to trouble yourself to show where I have lied. It is a fact that the Korean activists you have talked about do actually solicit donations from outside of Korea on their website. Am I wrong? It is a fact that some among them have spent time in America working with "animal rights" groups there. Again, where did I lie? Calling this a purely korean group of concerned people is disingenuous, and not at all true.
Pretty sure I already know what they are trying to accomplish. They are trying to tell other people what they can and cannot eat.
My way that is "so much better?" People decide for themselves what they want to put in their mouths. Until you came along, I never realized it was such a bad notion ...
You would LOVE to decide what The Bobster gets to put in his mouth, but bad news for you : you don't get to decide that.
Finally, balgan kae, it is a simple fact of life that if these groups had not opposed govt regulation then there would be less animal cruelty today than there is right now. It is a fact, and I have not lied. You can insult me and call me all the names you like, you cannot refute what is true and real.
Don't call me a liar again unless you are willing to do the work to show where I lied. Or else, stay away from me. |

I'd like YOU to stay away from ME and not waste any more of my time with this drivel. You have no idea what you're talking about ... and I'm not going to get into a discussion about it because I don't know what the Korean groups are doing now.

Who are you even talking about, Kyenan Kum of International Aid for Korean Animals? The last I heard, she lived in the U.S. She moved there years ago to pursue her career and she started IAKA to help Korean animals in the way she found most feasible. The last I heard, another Korean activist was also helping the same organization from the U.K. So what?! You implied that they were all under the command of Brigitte Bardot (who doesn't even represent an "animal rights" group, BTW). Prove it. Better yet, learn something about more than one Korean animal organization. Learn about the range of perspectives they have on all the issues, not just the one you like to write about.
I addressed your "question" in BBs thread, although not in relation to Korean dogs specifically. I provided numerous links showing why many animal advocates think regulating animal exploitation is a waste of time. Did you open them up? Did you listen to the debate between Gary Francione and Erik Marcus about the value of "welfare" reforms? Are you here to learn something or just to waste everyone's time? |

But you are. Funny, when you think about it. You asked me not to pm you and I have complied. I've asked you to stay away from me on the forums and you have not. In fact, you declared you WILL not.
Well.

You are saying out loud what I have said many times, that Korean animal rights groups are not really Korean, but funded and immensely influenced by overseas animal rights groups. Where did I lie? You DID call me a liar in this matter, yet now you say just exactly what I had been saying all along.

This is not even the least bit true. Never said any such thing. She IS a certified racist, though, fined by the govt of France for hate speech, and I think that's typical of a lot of people from outside of Korea who claim to "care" for animals. Never spoke or implied any even tenuous connection between her and Korean activists. Stop lying.
Probably some dogs are experiencing pain at this moment, and the reason is that activists who claim to care about that decided it was better for the pain to continue. The real goal, of course is that they want to decide what food other people can eat. Offhand, I'm not worried about it, because I think it's not going to happen. But ... sometimes, I feel bad about the dogs. Don't you?
I do sort of dislike hypocrisy, people who claim to love animals and decide to abet the pain inflicted ... sort of ugly, when you think about it. Actually, you don't even have to think very hard to see how ugly that is. |
