My girlfriend wanted to go see it last night. Luckily I convinced her that it "may not be fully subtitled in English" (is it?), and we went to see 1408. Which, by the way, isn't that bad.

And why did Wthan and Sarah just leave the black guy behind on two occasions?







The special effect were pretty cool though. But damn the story line was horrible, the acting was forgettable, and the character development was just non-existant.

And I didn't even know the Korean connection before I saw it.


Then when they brought up Korea at the beginning of the movie, I was like cool, I hope this will be good.

As much as I hate on Korea from time to time, I still secretly root for the bastards.


But for the love of God that was a TERRIBLE movie!

And that was great when the girl says the word 'congratulate' with her birthday. They even worked Konglish into the movie!!!

Then when the guy quoted a Korean proverb that probably no one has ever heard of or ever cared about, I almost puked.

I saw this movie with my girlfriend today, and I have to say it was the WORST movie I have ever seen. When the bad guy with the sword hurled a huge fireball at the SWAT guys near the cave, I thought I was watching the Power Rangers. DO NOT waste your money on this POS movie

Me and my friend saw it and we both had this impression of it: It was better than the American Godzilla movie.

I thought it was pretty damn funny actually, I like how the entire US missed the gigantic snake sneaking around and the giant castle being built. That thing had to be breaking some zoning laws

Did anybody mention how kid Ethan's eyes are blue and adult Ethan's eyes are brown? They actually did a change over after his flashback scene where the eyes changed colors.

I guess once he became aware that he was a reincarnated Korean his eyes turned brown... ?

I think the fake beard was meant to make him look like a "Korean" tough guy... ?

Oh... also... look at the way that Ethan dresses... maybe I am reading to much into it but it seems totally ajoshi style... just in darker colors. When he makes his first appearance, his jacket has some sort of f*cking racing stripes under the arms... what is that?

these are monsters from Koreans past?? I mean... a lot of people went to transformers just because we grew up with them..

maybe that was a reason Korean people like the movie...

Kind of like watching the Dukes of Hazzard...

anyway after reading how terrible it was I have to watch it now...

most hollywood movies has no plot, no dialogue, is just a bunch of ooh and ahh, look at the shiny character face. im so mesmerized...


anyways, i hope they polish it up before the sept US release!!!
