Looking for a native (from Spain only) Spanish teacher.
Two hours a week for one year. Weekend afternoons or one evening in the week and one wkend aft.
Will move to Granada in Sept, 2008.
Central Seoul or close to Ilsan. I'll be living in Ilsan as of September 1st 2007.
I only have very limited basic Spanish at the moment so am looking to be able to get around and converse.
Pm me if interested or know anyone who might be and we can discuss time and rates etc.
Also if you know a reasonably priced class at a decent hakwan / college, let me know, I'd really appreciate it.

Venus,
Deberias averiguar con la embajada espanola en Seoul- que cuando yo estaba en Corea el ano pasado habia un grupo de muchachos espanoles que trabajaban para esa embajada, y me imagino que uno de ellos le gustaria ganar un poco mas de plata. Llama y averigua....creo que es la unica manera de conocer unos tios o tias que te ensenen el espanol de la madre patria. Muy propio. ja ja.
Pero vas a aprendar a hablar con ese acento tan pesado. wacala. |

Try the Spanish embassy in Seoul as I knew some interns and young workers there that wouldnt mind making a few extra bucks...pretty nice people-
-including a dude whose wardrobe consisted of Che shirts. It was very fun to play on his colonial guilt. Ha ha.
Try not to learn from anyone in the Andalucia region, lest you begin to sound like Daffy Duck. |

Venus, there is a Mexican guy advertising Spanish lessons on the noticeboard outside What the Book in Itaewon.
Although I learnt European Spanish, having lived in Ecuador and hearing all the different variations in accents within one country I much prefer South American Spanish.

hay que pagar para el espaniol?! en mi ciudad, solamente necesitia viajar 20 minutos por coche y estaba en mexico, en la ciudad donde la patria empiece y el espaniol es gratis  |

Si pero va a vivir en Espana- entonces que uso es Espanol Mexicano para el? Yo igual prefiero el Espanol de Latinoamerica, pero si aprende eso se le va a hcer MUCHO mas dificil hablar y entender los ESSHHHHpanoles. Hasta ami se me hace dificil. |

there are more differences than youd think: vocab, syntax and pronunciation being the most obvious three.
if you want to learn "spain spanish," you shouldnt speak/write like cubanlord or chimpumcallao. (please do not take offense, cubanlord and chimpumcallao, your spanish is great! ) i can teach you "castellano" (which by the way, is really poorly stated) if youre interested.
i grew up in northern spain, where the dialect differs from the southern region in which youll be living, but its closer to the standard dialect that youll hear on tv. im assuming thats what youre going for.
as for spanish hagwons, i know there are two in hongdae and kangnam station (same school) http://www.realspanish.co.kr
as well as in jonggak/jongno http://www.casadecastellano.com
im pretty sure the sites are in korean, so youll probably need a korean-speaking friend to help you out.
i live in ilsan near juyeop station. do you want grammar and conversation classes or just convo?

No te preocupes (cono, pero ya se me olvido como escribir en Espanol), no me molesto. Es verdad que el Espanol de los paises norte Americanos es diferente del Espanol de Espana. Hay veces que pienso que son dos lenguas differentes. |

Depende del dia. Pero mas que nada se me hace muy ignorante la gente. Tienen mucha malas costumbres.

Es como una extencion de la uni. Aun no empiezo mi vida real

Es muy interesante y es muy dificil de comprender para muchos que no tienen conexcion a LA

en que noche? el sabado por la ma�ana mi amiga y yo estabamos bebiendo alcol en plena calle...por lo menos era muy chistoso

bueno, el julio antes de venir a Korea me fui a Puerto Rico con mi mejor amigo. aquilamos un coche y anduvimos por toda la isla. era increible. creeo que mi vacacion ideal no importa a donde, solo con quien vaya. |
